DIAMOND BEANCOFFEE & CACAO · BULK SUPPLY

SUPPLY · FOB

From enquiry
to on board.

Importing green coffee and cacao beans starts with clear steps. We document every stage, from the specification to the bill of lading.

Eight steps
of one shipment.

The order is the same for coffee and cacao. Only the quality check differs: a Q grader's evaluation for coffee, laboratory figures for cacao.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

You tell us the product, origin, grade or required parameters, volume and destination port. The website form, WhatsApp or an email is enough.

  2. 02

    Specification

We offer lots and fix the parameters: origin, process or crop, grade, defects, moisture, packing, volume and port of loading.

  3. 03

    Sample

We send a sample of the lot for your evaluation. Shipping terms for the sample are agreed per enquiry.

  4. 04

    Quality approval

Coffee: the sample is evaluated by an independent Q grader to the SCA protocol. Cacao: laboratory figures, including the cut test, moisture and bean count per 100 g.

  5. 05

    Contract

Specification, volume, price, FOB terms, port and shipment period, list of documents. Payment terms are fixed in the contract for each deal.

  6. 06

    Supervised stuffing

An independent inspector, SGS or Bureau Veritas, supervises container stuffing: quality, weight, bag marking, container condition and seal.

  7. 07

    FOB loading

The goods pass to the buyer on board the vessel at the port of loading. The buyer arranges freight and insurance from the port.

  8. 08

    Documents

We provide the shipment documents: bill of lading, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, quality and weight certificates.

One container.
Clear responsibilities.

We work on FOB terms only. The port of loading is stated in the offer for each lot.

20'

Container

About 19.2 t of green coffee, 320 bags of 60 kg. The load of a container of cacao beans is stated in the specification, as it depends on packing.

FOB

Terms

Goods on board the vessel at the port of loading. From there the buyer arranges freight, insurance, delivery and customs clearance at destination.

◇
